"Campus" at Heimtextil 2011

Promoting young people means shaping the future
To promote the textile world of the future and the innovative use of textiles, including in fields outside the textile and apparel industries, we do all we can to help young designers, fashion schools, engineers and architects.

Therefore, we also hold competition for students,  such as "Textile Structures for New Building" at Techtextil.

Additionally, Messe Frankfurt motivates the young generation with competitions, such as the Young Contract Creations Award Upholstery at Heimtextil.

Heimtextil is also the venue of the "Campus", special exhibition where young designers from European academies of design have the opportunity to present their ideas.

Young Designers / Texworld Paris

Texworld in Paris has been promoting young designers for many years now. It offers them free presentation space and invites fashion schools from all over the world to present their creations. Pattern schools even give instruction at the fair.
