Identify trends – start trends

A network of textile specialists with an unparalleled degree of global expertise for the creative side of the sector works together with us to identify the latest trends and new aspects in the textile industry, and to incorporate them into our events.

Many trade-fair concepts and special events show how Messe Frankfurt is able to identify worldwide trends at an early stage and interpret them in a future-oriented way.

We succeed in this time and again because both renowned designers and newcomers to the scene feel a strong sense of identification with Messe Frankfurt.

Every year, six international design studios meet to form the Heimtextil Trendtable. Their task is to develop the Heimtextil Trend Book and Trend Show on the basis of the multifarious impressions and influences in the textile sector. Around half a year before the fair begins, we send all exhibitors this creative overview, to help them with the development of their own collections.

Also on the track of the newest of the new are the Trend Forums of Texworld in Paris and the USA, Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics and Intertextile Beijing Apparel Fabrics. Interstoff Asia Essential offers a wide-ranging Trend Show, which is supported by a Trend Committee of renowned experts.
